The Hotlines @ The Prince Albert Brighton 12.03.10

The Hotlines – Live at The Prince Albert (Brighton) 12.03.2010.

The Hotlines are four dashing young pop-punkers from Brighton England.  In a sea of beards, grit and gloom it’s refreshing to hear uplifting pop-punk that harks back to The Ramones, The Griswalds, The Queers and even early Green Day.  Fun, hyper and ever so slightly American influenced this set was recorded in the sweaty, glorious confines of the Prince Albert (best venue in Brighton hands down!) whilst they were supporting Swiss legends The Peacocks.  It was a pretty awesome night, it was Buz (Punker Bunker’s) birthday so booze was flowing, hair was oiled back for the rockabillys and everyone was in a good mood.  The Hotlines played the best I’ve seen them for a while (good to see them back on form after the technical mishaps at the same venue a couple of weeks back!) so here for your aural enjoyment is their set from the night.
